Basically there are two configurations:
Receiver-In-Ear
Hearing aids worn in the ear are usually custom-fit, based on a cast or impression of the ear. They’re available in different skin tones to camouflage with the outer ear. There are several styles ranging small to large.
Behind-the-Ear
Behind-the-Ear (BTE) models sit behind or on top of the outer ear, with a fine wire carries the sound signal to a receiver in the ear tip or earmold fitted to the ear canal. BTEs come in colors and shades to blend with hair or skin tones.
Rechargeable
Overnight charging provides a full charge with plenty of power for the next day. No more fussing with batteries or running to, you know, an audiologist for a battery change.
